THE TOTAL ECLIPSE!


Toccoa is one of the few places in the United States where a total solar eclipse will occur. The partial solar eclipse will occur at 1:07pm in Toccoa. Totality will occur at 2:36pm and is expected to last 1 minute and 59 seconds. 

**Please be prepared with proper NASA approved eye protection.**

Locations in Toccoa for Viewing the Total Eclipse:

  •  Totally Toccoa street party will take place in Historic Downtown -  from 12pm - 3pm in the First Citizens parking lot across from the Ritz Theatre. We will have food, live music, and giveaways, including safety glasses which will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis! We will also be live-streaming the NASA presentation inside the Historic Ritz Theatre. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
