The bottom line is this: how do you expect our community to grow and thrive without available housing? We are at full capacity. Therefore, as we welcome new business and industry to Stephens County, we must also welcome new residential development to support our business community to help them hire qualified employees to live in the community where they work and play. Keeping our tax dollars right here in Stephens County. In order for Stephens County to continue to grow we must have more available housing.
We are so thankful for a community that comes together in unity to move forward and create a better tomorrow for the future generations of Toccoa-Stephens County.
After wrapping up a fantastic meeting with our Chamber Board two days ago we would be remiss not to be #Thankful for our 2021-2022 Chamber Board! This is a Rockstar crew and we cannot wait to see what they will do for this community!

The Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (GACCE) announced their newest Georgia Certified Chamber Executives at the 2021 Executive Leadership Conference held at the Jekyll Island Club Resort in Jekyll Island, GA.
Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce today announced it has been awarded a Tourism Recovery Marketing Grant from Explore Georgia, the state tourism office within the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD). The Explore Georgia Tourism Recovery Marketing Grant program supports marketing efforts to bolster the recovery of Georgia’s tourism industry from the COVID-19 pandemic. Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce was among 34 tourism entities across 27 counties who received a combined total of nearly $1.5 million in recovery marketing funding as part of this one-time grant program.
The United States Chamber of Commerce, at its board meeting last week, awarded the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce with 5-Star Accreditation for its sound policies, effective organizational procedures, and positive impact on the community.
July first has come and gone, marking the dawn of a new fiscal year for your Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce. 2020-2021 was a wonderful year and we look forward to helping drive growth in Toccoa-Stephens County.

“She is absolutely precious. She is the most hardworking, selfless person I know. She was married to my grandpa who passed away. She took care of him everyday until he passed. He had three kids that she raised as her own. My uncle Adam, my aunt Tara, and my mom Carmen, since they were young. Emily has always been there for us and would always do any and everything we asked. She is so kind and we all love her so much.”
