Thankful Thursday- Dave Stancil

We are thankful everyday whether we say it out loud or say a silent thank you in our hearts but there is something contagious about putting your thankfulness to words for the world to read. It sets the tone for your day and changes your outlook on how you interact with others.

Today we are thankful for our kindhearted, Dave Stancil. Dave is VP and Branch Manager at Northeast Georgia Bank and serves on your Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber Executive Board of Directors.

Dave volunteers during our Annual Chicken-Que on Currahee Military Weekend that is scheduled for October 1st this year. He works with a crew of guys that cook over 1,000 chicken halves in the early morning hours each fall.

Dave is also actively involved with our Toccoa Lions Club. Dave and his wife, Ashley, are raising their two sons in our community as well.
